Adams County Opioid Council determines how to spend $2.9 million in first round of Adams County Opioid Abatement Grant

The Adams County Opioid Council met last Wednesday from 3:00 – 5:00 PM

What was accomplished?

The Council made decisions on how to award $2.9 million for this first round of the Adams County Opioid Abatement Grant.

What are Next Steps?

  • All applicants will be receiving an email with an update on the Council’s decisions,  including detailed feedback on the application and rationale for the decision made.
  • Adams County Government is the fiscal agent over these funds, so the Council’s decisions will go to the Adams County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to confirm. It is anticipated this will happen at the end of March or in early April.
  • BOCC confirms the awards, recipients will be officially announced.
