About Adams County Regional Opioid Council Meetings

The Council has adopted a set of values which are intended to ensure that collaboration and innovation are occurring in a judgement free space while moving the effort forward in a timely manner. The Council’s values are as follows:

  • Respect each other’s time by using it wisely
  • Brevity – ensure all voices are heard and contributions are efficient
  • Be vulnerable and courageous with one another and lean into discomfort
  • Utilize the Parking Lot to stay on task
  • Assume best intentions
  • Have an open mind and show up willing to learn, hear, understand, and respect different perspectives in order to best move forward together
  • Foster space for active listening and contributions – ‘talk once, listen twice’
  • Keep the result / session goals at the center of conversations, and stay on task towards this

  • Potential applicants for the Adams County Opioid Abatement Grant will receive an overview of the application process and timeline, review the application and scoring matrix, and have the opportunity to ask questions
  • This session is facilitated by the Rocky Mountain Partnership Team and staff from Adams County Government
