As highlighted in a previous memo, Elena Mendoza has joined the RMP Backbone Team as its Director of Community Engagement. Elena is stepping into support work this project team is doing to connect with non-parents living in the Adams 12 Five Star Schools community.
This project team, comprised of Adams 12 Long Range Planning Advisory Committee members and members of RMP’s Community Coalition, is working to develop questions for focus groups with non-parents.
These questions will focus on understanding how much they know about work the district is doing (in particular around FutureForward, which is the district’s Career and Technical Education Program), and the best way to connect and engage them in the district’s longer term efforts (including future ballot initiatives).
