Adams County Opioid Regional Council Holds Second Meeting

The Adams County Opioid Regional Council convened for its second meeting on Friday, August 12.

What was accomplished in this session?

Regional Council members:

  • Gained a clearer understanding of the current state of the opioid crisis in Adams County
  • Confirmed a Chair and Vice Chair for this group

What are the next steps?

The Adams County Opioid Regional Council will reconvene in September to adopt a results statement that articulates ultimate impact it intends to make through its work, and confirm what percent of litigation settlement funds will be allocated to the five primary service areas outlined by the Attorney General’s Office.
