On Friday, August 12, the Adams County Opioid Regional Council selected City of Brighton Council Member Peter Padilla as the Chair of their Council.
In addition, Dr. Kelly Weidenbach, Director of Public Health Transition for Adams County Government, was selected as the Council’s Vice Chair.
As Chair and Vice Chair, Council Member Padilla and Dr. Weidenbach will provide leadership to the Regional Council as it develops and implements a two year plan for distributing state litigation settlement dollars to address the opioid crisis across the region.
