The Rocky Mountain Partnership (RMP) is calling for action to support the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office to make a concentrated effort to connect young people with mental health resources and supports that are critically needed. See the RMP Press Release HERE.
This call to action from the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office was issued in response to a ‘State of Emergency’ for youth mental health issued by Children’s Hospital Colorado in May 2021.
To respond to the ‘State of Emergency’ on youth mental health, The Partnership is supporting efforts led by the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office to:
- Amplify and draw awareness to new and existing resources to ensure youth and families have the support they need when it comes to mental health, such as the “Summer Life Line” mental health crisis hotline. Learn more about the Summer Life Line Program here
- Leverage and scale existing mental health resources
- Identify additional strategies, such as meeting young people where they are at in the community to connect them with resources
Promote existing mental health resources for youth and families, including the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office’s Adams and Broomfield County Summer Life Line. Learn more about Life Line HERE
