Brighton Youth Summit: Imagine, Impact, Influence

The Summit will be emceed by Adrian Molina, a critically-acclaimed poet and recording artist. Event activities will include multiple breakout sessions, four speakers, giveaways and lunch.
Lunch will be provided by HeyPB&J, a gourmet Denver-based PB&J food truck. Attendees will have the opportunity to win Rockies tickets, Water World Tickets, iPad, gift cards and more!
The highlight of the event will be four speakers, each with a different strength and message to share with youth.
Speakers include:
• Futurist: Mike Walsh, CEO of Tomorrow • Why our history is important: Paul Lopez, City of Denver Councilman
• How to channel the historian and futurist from within: Adrian Molina, Poet and Recording Artist• Importance of being and doing now: Mali Holmes, Evergreen High School student activist
Youth ages 13-19 can register for the free Youth Summit online at www.brightonyouthcommission.org/Summit.html. The Office of Youth Services hopes to gain exposure and establish a stronger conduit between all community youth and city council. They also hope to gain an understanding of what the youth in Brighton’s community want and need.
