• Potential applicants for the Adams County Opioid Abatement Grant will receive an overview of the application process and timeline, review the application and scoring matrix, and have the opportunity to ask questions
• This session is facilitated by the Rocky Mountain Partnership Team and staff from Adams County Government

• Voting members finalized the application and scoring matrix for funding proposals for the first year of funding
• Confirmed internal process for staff to do initial vetting/rating of applications
• Confirmed meetings for 2023 in alignment with timeline
• Confirmed recommendation for distribution of opioid/fentanyl information (fact sheets)

• Voting members provided input on the deadline cycles and criteria for funding proposals for the first year of funding
• Voting members established a Capital Projects Subcommittee, which will first explore the need for a youth residential treatment center in the region

• Voting members reached consensus on the allocation amounts for the first year of funding  (As required by the Attorney General’s Office)
• Adams County Government was confirmed as the fiscal agent for Region 8

• Develop draft allocations that indicate what percent of litigation settlement funds could be allocated to the five primary service areas outlined by the Attorney General’s Office

• Provide Input Draft Draft Opioid Crisis Logic Model

• Gained a shared understanding of:
  • The Opioid Epidemic from a public health perspective
  • Purpose of Logic Models and how to use them
  • Intended purpose of the Opioid Crisis Logic Model we are tasked with developing
• Provided input on a Draft Opioid Crisis Logic Model and determined what additional action is needed to finalize it

• Gained a clearer understanding of the current state of the opioid crisis in Adams County
• Confirmed a Chair and Vice Chair for this group

• Selected city representation for the open voting and alternate city seats on the Adams County Regional Opioid Council
• Gained consensus on principles for voting members to follow for time sensitive decision making
