In November 2024, Aurora Public Schools put forth two critical ballot measures—5A (Capital Mill Levy) and 5B (Bond Measure).
These measures represented a significant opportunity to address the critical needs in our schools, which will in turn help us achieve our goal of supporting 71,000 more young people in our community to reach the cradle-to-career milestones that lead to upward mobility by 2030.

What was RMP’s engagement with 5A and 5B?
One of RMP’s policy priorities is increasing public education funding. With this, RMP was actively engaged in supporting Issues 5A and 5B.
RMP’s efforts included:
- Registering people to vote
- Attending meetings and events to share more about the ballot measures
- Engaging voters directly through sign waving and phone calls
- Dedicated social media and communications efforts
