Kate Gitchell (She/Her/Hers) is an experienced professional deeply committed to public health and driving collective efforts. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health from the State University of New York at Cortland, Kate brings a solid foundation of knowledge and expertise to her new role as the Director of Events and Collaborative Action for the Rocky Mountain Partnership.
In 2017, Kate embarked on her journey by relocating to Lake County, California to participate in the AmeriCorps VISTA program, where she wholeheartedly dedicated herself towards tackling the opioid epidemic and prevention. Her impactful contributions led to the establishment of Hope Is Rising Lake County, a 501(c)(3) organization, where Kate played a pivotal role. In 2023, Kate relocated to Denver, Colorado, proudly making the state her new home and focusing her efforts on improving economic development and supporting the remarkable initiatives of the Rocky Mountain Partnership. With her wealth of experience and dedication to community health. Additionally, Kate is a certified Vinyasa and Sculpt Yoga teacher and spends her free time practicing or teaching. She also enjoys exploring new areas of Colorado with her partner and two dogs. |
