|More about me:
I grew up in the city of Aurora, attended several Aurora Public Schools to include Aurora Central, graduated from Metro with a degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology and with a minor in Psychology. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Public Administration.
I currently work as a middle school Dean with Aurora Public Schools, and previously worked for the City of Aurora as the Youth Violence Prevention Coordinator. I have worked in the service provider field for four years and have had the privilege to advocate for individuals with intellectual disability, survivors of sex and labor trafficking, domestic violence victims, and families in need of support.
Spanish is my native language giving me the advantage to work more closely with Hispanic/Latino/a/e families to offer services in their dialogue. I hope to create a fair support system in the community by working closely to meet their needs.
