RMP is supporting Westminster Public Schools with the first ever LatinaCon, a conference for Latina students, and is looking for input from WPS students and parents on what to include.
What is LatinaCon?
By Latinas, for Latinas, LatinaCon is a CONference for students to have critical CONversations, and make lasting CONnections. Latina leaders from across the region are coming together to create an intentional space for building community and connection with Westminster Public Schools students in sixth through twelfth grade who identify as Latina and their families. This is going to be a space for young Latina students to connect and be inspired by other Latina leaders!
How can Latina students and their parents give input on what LatinaCon should look like?
This is the first ever LatinCon, and the planning team (which includes Westminster Public Schools, the Westminster Chamber of Commerce, Adams County Education Consortium, Adelante Community Development, and Rocky Mountain Partnership), is looking to Latina students and their families to help influence the conference!
Students and their families can provide input on what would make this conference a success by taking a quick survey in English or Spanish.
