Lisandra Gonzales, RMP CEO, Appointed to Colorado Commission on Higher Education

Commissioner Gonzales will serve in this role July 2022 through July 2026. Her appointment will be formally confirmed by the Colorado General Assembly when they reconvene in January 2023, however, she’s already begun serving in this role joining her fellow commissioners in Greeley this week for strategic planning around the state’s higher education policy and practices.

What does this role entail?

In this role, Lisandra will join the other commissioners from across the state to develop long-range plans for an evolving state system of higher education including:
  • Degree Programs
  • Higher Education Funding
  • Institutional Capital for Construction
  • Institutional and Facility Master Plan Policies
  • Statewide Student Financial Assistance Programs
  • Statewide Off-Campus, Community Service, and Continuing Education Program
  • Institutional Roles and Missions
  • Statewide Enrollment Policies and Admission Standards
  • Special Studies as Directed
How long will she serve in this role?
