Introducing… RMP ‘Innovation Labs’

RMP partners come together to solve really challenging problems that stand in the way of community members’ abilities to be economically and socially mobile.

Enter, innovation labs – a dedicated space to explore innovation, creativity, taking risks, and solving problems across RMP’s priority areas that partners might not be able to take on individually or within their own organizations alone. Through innovation labs, partners and community members have the opportunity to explore innovative ideas and/or challenges with their peers to see if there is interest in digging into it further as a network or working group.

How do innovation labs work?

What types of ideas and challenges could be explored through Innovation Labs?

Types of ideas and challenges might include policy barriers, funding opportunities, ideas for collaborating around a specific project or initiative, or anything partners need thought partnering around that aligns to RMP’s priority areas.

Where will these innovative ideas and challenges be discussed?

Innovative ideas and challenges will be lifted to the working groups that are most relevant across RMP’s priority areas. For example, an innovative idea around housing for school district employees would be discussed in an innovation lab with the local housing practitioners that have convened through a regional housing roundtable. Or a specific challenge that a network partner is experiencing could be lifted to the larger Community Leaders Council.

Who do I reach out to with my innovative idea or challenge to discuss in an upcoming Innovation Lab?
