The StriveTogether National Movement
StriveTogether is a national movement with a clear purpose: helping every child succeed in school and in life from cradle to career, regardless of race, ethnicity, zip code or circumstance. In partnership with nearly 70 communities across the country, StriveTogether provides resources, best practices and processes to give every child every chance for success. The StriveTogether Cradle to Career Network reaches more than 13 million youth, including nearly 9 million youth of color.
In August 2006, StriveTogether began to take shape in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky as over 300 local organizations agreed to improve outcomes for young people and measure their success. This partnership of local leaders pioneered an approach that became known as collective impact. They organized the community around a common vision and used data as a tool for collaboration.
In 2010, a national network formed to spread this approach of relentlessly evaluating and measuring results. Now, StriveTogether works with nearly 70 communities across the country to support the success of every child, cradle to career. Learn more about StriveTogether
The Rocky Mountain Partnership is designated as a “Sustaining” member of the StriveTogether Cradle to Career Network.
In 2012, RMP joined the StriveTogether Cradle to Career Network. As part of the network, RMP adopted its guiding framework for results, called the StriveTogether Theory of ActionTM. The theory of action and its benchmarks helped lay a foundation and path for the Rocky Mountain Partnership to follow in order to achieve systems transformation and improve the measured indicators within our Cradle to Career Outcomes. Beginning in 2015, RMP was designated as an “Emerging” network member and one year later moved into, and was designated, as a “Sustaining” network member.
