Group coming together to discuss what expedited housing approval process under Proposition 123 means for localities

There’s a group of economic development and housing practitioners already being convened by Adams County Government on a quarterly basis.

The RMP Regional Housing Roundtable will be bringing the opportunity to develop a shared definition for what an expedited housing approval process (90-day fast track) would need to look like for municipalities to access funding through Proposition 123 to this existing group during their currently scheduled meeting on Wednesday, rather than convening these stakeholders separately.

What will be accomplished in this session?

This session is intended to support regional clarity around the proposition – no decision about opting into the proposition has or will be made for municipalities at this session.

How did this session come to be?

At the last RMP Regional Housing Roundtable session, the Roundtable determined that a workgroup should convene to develop a shared definition for what an expedited housing approval process (90-day fast track) would need to look like for municipalities to access funding through Proposition 123.

Who should attend?

Local government practitioners
