Project 1: Reimagined Talent Supply Ecosystem

What Is The Goal Of This Project?

Create and scale a reimagined talent supply ecosystem that unites educational institutions, employers, community organizations, and learners under one recognizable and trusted brand. Under this regional brand, community partners and community members will support learners to earn skills and credentials that meet the needs of industries and are consistent across  providers, blur the lines of where skill building is offered, and ensure that instructors are experts in their field and are compensated at a rate that is competitive within their industry.

In this reimagined ecosystem, a diverse array of partners and community members are united under a regional brand and work together to ensure:

  • Learners across the region are earning skills that meet the needs of industries and jobs critical to our region’s economic vitality through programs, services, and systems that are co-designed with learners and employers, and consistent from provider to provider
  • Skills being developed are “apples to apples” across institutions
  • Data and information is centralized in a way that helps us measure the number of learners participating in programs to earn these skills, and helps community members of all backgrounds learn how they can earn skills, upskill, and re-skill and where they can go to access needed services to help them be successful
  • Campus and geographical lines are blurred, where skill building and learning not only happens at Career and Technical Education campuses but also at other satellite locations where equipment and technology already exist, such as employers’ spaces
  • Skills are taught by educators who are experts in their field, and these instructors are being compensated at a rate that is competitive within their industry
  • Navigation supports are provided to learners across the ecosystem regardless of what institution(s) they are connected with in order to ensure barriers can be addressed in real time

More information will be added as this project gets underway in Quarter 2, 2023!
