We were honored to present Crossroads Church with the 2016 ACYI Champion Award at our recent Catalyst for Change Breakfast. The purpose of the ACYI Champion Award is to recognize leaders, partners, and organizations who:
  • Demonstrate a strong vision and driving passion around results for kids.
  • Inspire others to work together and set aside individual agendas.
  • Align their time, talent, or treasure to support Cradle to Career Success.
  • Ultimately, the ACYI Champion is the best friend a student could have.

Crossroads Church has been a financial contributing partner including providing extra funding during ACYI’s critical transition from a federal grant to a non-profit in 2012. They have recruited over 10 mentors for one of the partnership’s mentoring agencies, Save Our Youth. They support everything and anything that is needed. Ultimately they consistently ask the question, “what can we do to help?” and then they make it happen.

Past recipients of the award include: Judge Don Quick of the 17th Judicial District; Dave Young, 17th Judicial District Attorney; Police Chief Randy Nelson, City of Thornton; Rick Doucett, CEO of Community Reach Center; Valorie Ladwig, Executive Director of the Link; and Chris Gdowski, Superintendent Adams 12 Five Star Schools.

Congratulations Crossroads Church on the well-deserved recognition.
